University-Wide Commencement Ceremony: May 22, 2021, 8 p.m.

Doors open at 6 p.m.
Graduates will be able to reserve tickets the week of May 10. Guest seating is separate from graduate seating. Graduates will sit with fellow graduates from their college or school.
Each graduate may reserve up to six (6) guest tickets. Guest seats, in groups of six (6) for each graduate, will be spaced throughout the stadium in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Children over the age of two require a ticket.
A valid UT EID is required to access tickets. Graduates will be responsible for securing tickets for their guests.
Graduate Recognition Moments: May 20-22, 2021
Colleges and schools are hosting Graduate Recognition Moments. These are opportunities for each graduate to cross the stage for a moment of individual recognition, whether in person or virtually. These moments will be streamed live for guests to participate virtually. Photographers will also be capturing each individual and graduation packages will be available for purchase.
More commonly referred to as “cap and gown," academic regalia are traditionally worn during Commencement. They may be purchased or rented through the University Co-op. Deadlines for regalia purchases and rentals are below:
- Doctoral purchase deadline – March 19
- Doctoral rental deadline – April 16
- Bachelor/Master purchase deadline – April 30
