Clear Bag Policy

Clear bag policy is in place for ALL COMMENCEMENT EVENTS. Guests and graduates will not be allowed to enter with prohibited bags or items on prohibited list, including umbrellas, signs, and strollers. Review the guidelines before arriving on campus.

Clear Bag Policy

The university-wide Commencement ceremony is held annually in May, recognizing the graduates from the current academic year.

The 2026 ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, in Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

College and school convocations, where graduates "cross the stage" and are recognized individually, will take place May 7-9.
