University-Wide Commencement Ceremony

The 141st University-Wide Commencement Ceremony will take place Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. in Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium (DKR-TMS).

This ceremony is hosted by UT Austin President Jay Hartzell and brings together graduates from all 17 degree-granting colleges and schools at the university.

Remarks from student representatives, the Commencement speaker, and university leadership precede the official conferral of degrees by the president and recognition of graduates as a college or school by their dean.

The Degree Candidates are seated by college and school for the University-wide Commencement and recognized as a group by their dean. Students are recognized individually in their college and school convocations.
