Tickets for the University-Wide Commencement Ceremony will be required of GRADUATES ONLY. Graduates must present a ticket to access the graduate seating area. Information on securing tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, April 30.
Guests do not need a ticket to attend the University-Wide Commencement Ceremony.
College and School Convocations
Some college and school convocations will require tickets for guests (noted with an asterisk on the schedule page). Colleges and schools will manage this ticket process and provide information to their graduates. Please reach out to your college or school contact with additional questions regarding your respective event.
University-Wide Ceremony Tickets (Saturday, May 11, 7:30 p.m.)
Graduates need a specific graduate ticket to participate in the university-wide ceremony. Information regarding securing these tickets will be available starting Tuesday, April 30. Graduates who have been approved to participate by their college/school received an email with a specific link to their college/school allotment of tickets for the ceremony.
Guests DO NOT need tickets for the university-wide ceremony.

General Ticket Information:
- Graduates need a ticket to participate in the University-Wide Ceremony and to gain access to the graduate seating area. Graduates will receive a link to secure a ticket the week of April 29.
- Tickets are free of charge and only distributed electronically (physical/printed tickets are not available).
- Guests do not need tickets for the university-wide ceremony.
Graduate Tickets
Graduates will only be able to secure a ticket in the college or school their major(s) are in. When asked for a promotional code, enter your EID. Your EID will only give access to the college/school you're graduating in.

FAQs and Troubleshooting
Q: I'm graduating in two different schools. Can I receive two tickets?
A: Graduates in more than one school have access to tickets from each school, but can only sit with one school at the ceremony. Please secure a ticket for the school you plan to sit with.
Q: I reserved my ticket but can't find it.
A: Your ticket can be found in your Texas Athletics ticket account. Please save it to your mobile wallet or download it prior to the ceremony. Tickets are only available electronically.
Q: I didn't get the email with a link to the tickets for my college/school.
A: The email was sent to the email on record with your UT account. Please check your spam folders. The links to your college or school tickets are found in the above menu, "Graduate Tickets".
If you still can not locate the email, please complete this form.
Q: I've typed in my EID and am getting an error.
A: Please confirm that you are approved to graduate or participate in the May Commencement events. If you've confirmed this, please complete this form and our team will get back to you within two business days.
Q: I was just approved to graduate. When can I access my ticket?
A: The initial list of graduates was current as of April 24. The next upload of newly approved EIDs will be the morning of May 2.
Q: Where can I reserve guest tickets?
A: Guests do not need tickets for the university-wide ceremony.
