College and School Convocations
Some college and school convocations will require tickets for guests (noted with an asterisk on the schedule page). Colleges and schools will manage this ticket process and provide information to their graduates. Please reach out to your college or school contact with additional questions regarding your respective event.
University-Wide Ceremony Tickets (Saturday, May 10, 7:00 p.m.)
Graduates need a specific graduate ticket to participate in the university-wide ceremony. Graduates who were approved to participate in May Commencement activities received an email with a link and directions to secure a ticket. Graduates must secure a ticket from their college or school allotment and may only secure one (double majors can only sit with one school during the ceremony). NOTE: McCombs School of Business Masters candidates must select a ticket from "McCombs School of Business Professional Programs". Masters and Doctoral candidates who fall under the Gradate School must select a ticket from "Graduate School", not their school of study.
Guests DO NOT need tickets for the university-wide ceremony.

Ticket Information
General Ticket Information:
- Graduates need a ticket to participate in the University-Wide Ceremony and to gain access to the graduate seating area. Graduates approved by their college/school to participate in Commencement events received an email on Monday, April 28 with a link and details on securing a ticket.
- Tickets are free of charge and only distributed electronically (physical/printed tickets are not available).
- Guests do not need tickets for the university-wide ceremony.
Graduate Tickets
Graduates who have been approved to participate in May commencement activities will need to secure a FREE graduate ticket for the university-wide ceremony to access graduate seating on the field. These tickets are available here.. NOTE: only students who been approved to participate in Commencement will be able to access Commencement tickets.
Graduates will need to select their degree level (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) and college or school before being issued a ticket. NOTE: McCombs School of Business Masters candidates must select a ticket from "McCombs School of Business Professional Programs". Masters and Doctoral candidates who fall under the Gradate School must select a ticket from "Graduate School", not their school of study. If a student is majoring in two schools, they may select only one to sit with during the ceremony.
FAQs and Troubleshooting
Q: I'm graduating in two different schools. Can I receive two tickets?
A: Graduates can only receive one ticket for the ceremony as they can only sit with one school.
Q: I didn't get the email with a link to graduate tickets for the University-Wide Ceremony.
A: Please check the email address on record in your UT account as well as junk/spam folders.
Q: Where can I reserve guest tickets?
A: Guests do not need tickets for the university-wide ceremony.
Q: I've logged into the Texas Athletics ticket platform, but don't have a "Commencement 2025" ticket option.
A: Confirm you have completed the necessary steps to apply to graduate with your college or school. If you have confirmed this and still can not access tickets, please complete this form and our team will get back to you within two business days.
Q: I was approved to graduate after tickets became available. How can I secure a ticket?
A: Tickets will be available to those approved after April 21 within 48 hours of our office receiving their EID.
